These quaint little wagons were introduced in 1887 for both the NBR and private owners. Although they were widely used in Scotland and the North East of England, after 1923 they traveled more widely and were photographed as far south as East Anglia. Amazingly, quite a large number lasted into LNER ownership and some even lasted into BR days!
Our kit has our usual one-piece resin body making assembly very easy, but with cast brass end hinges, so the end door will actually work.
