Manning Wardle kit

These attractive little engines were used all over the country and several have been preserved. Individual engines were changed a great deal between batches and subsequent modifications make the number of variants even more confusing. We have some alternative parts, so please ask for what you actually want.
The body is based on the well-regarded Gauge 1 kit by "Old Originals" and we are indebted to John Dale for allowing us to use his artwork. The chassis is laser cut steel, with separate sprung brass axleboxes. At present we are still working on some patterns, but a growing number of castings and other parts are now available. There is no provision for pickups or batteries, so the builder will need to decide which he needs and make appropriate alterations.
